Booking and payment conditions

 

An official reservation at the Medici Soderini B&B can be made directly through the website or by sending an email to medicisoderini@gmail.com containing the following information:

• Check-in date and check-out date

• Estimated time of arrival on the check-in day

• The name of the room / rooms you want to book

• Number of adults and children

• Need or not an extra bed (only for certain rooms)

• Standard or discounted rate per night (excluding tourist tax)

• Name of the booker and a telephone number

 

The confirmation of the reservation by the Medici Soderini b & b will be made by e-mail which will also contain all the information necessary to conclude the reservation.

 

The accepted payment methods are:

• wire transfer

• credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Vpay, American Express, Diners club international, Discover, UnionPay or Googlepay, Applepay and Samsungpay)

• other methods to be agreed with the structure

 

Payment will be requested depending on the conditions applied to the rate (for Standard or Flexible Rate bookings, at the end of the free cancellation period; for Non-Refundable Rate bookings, at any time after booking confirmation).

Cancellations and no-shows

​

Standard or Flexible Rate bookings can be cancelled, modified in whole or in part (for example, changing dates, number of nights, or number of guests), and cancelled within the free cancellation period by sending an email to medicisoderini@gmail.com. If the cancellation request occurs after the free cancellation deadline, a penalty equal to 100% of the entire reservation will be applied. After the free cancellation period, requests to reduce the number of nights or guests will not be refunded. All reservation modification requests must be evaluated and approved by the B&B.

​Reservations with a Non-Refundable Rate are subject to the "non-refundable" condition, meaning it is not possible to modify or cancel the reservation after the booking has been confirmed by email from the B&B. Cancellations made after the booking has been confirmed will incur a penalty equal to 100% of the reservation cost.

I​If you request a cancellation due to documented Force Majeure after the free cancellation period for Standard and Flexible Rate reservations and after the booking has been confirmed for Non-Refundable Rate reservations, please send an email to medicisoderini@gmail.com before your arrival. The request will be evaluated by the B&B.

In case of no-show of the guest (s) on the day of check-in, there is a penalty equal to 100% of the total cost of the reservation.

In case of delay with respect to the agreed time, it is required to notify the b & b in time.

Terms of Service

​

Medici Soderini is a bed and breakfast offering an Italian buffet breakfast, not served.

​

Check-in is from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm (on holidays check-in and check-out times may vary), check-out by 10:00 am. Check-in outside these hours is not always possible and may cost € 25 .

The arrival time must be agreed with the B&B manager. If you arrive early or late, please notify the B&B in advance.

​At check-in, guests must present a photo ID and the credit card used as a guarantee in the name of one of the guests entered at the time of booking (if booked online) or a credit card in the name of one of the guests (if booked by email).

If the number, identity, and/or age of the guests in the reservation does not match the actual number, identity, and/or age of the guests, the reservation may be rejected without a refund. If the owner of the credit card that paid for the reservation does not show up for check-in, for security reasons and to protect third parties, the reservation may be rejected at check-in.

The B&B does not have a luggage storage facility, so it is not possible to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. We can, however, provide alternative solutions.
Smoking is forbidden in the b & b and in the rooms.
Towels will be changed for free after 3 days of stay and sheets after 7 days of stay. An advance change is possible with the contribution of a small fee.

Room cleaning is provided daily at customer's discretion.

Pets are not allowed.

We are not responsible for items left unattended in the rooms and in the apartment.

We are not responsible for inefficiencies beyond our control.

The Medici Soderini b & b reserves the right to ask for a refund for any damage caused by the customer during the stay.

The cost of the room does not include the city tax of 4 € / night per person.
